This will be  Boyd’s first overseas tour in the green and gold uniform.
But it is the second time Boyd has represented his country in outdoor cricket, previously playing for Australia in the Tri Series Championships in Melbourne in 2015.

The selectors had a difficult job selecting only 14 players from over 250 around Australia who attended the National Inclusion Carnival in Geelong in January 2017.
Boyd is one of two players selected from WA.

Boyd will contribute as a fast bowler and batsman, as well as contributing on the field. He was the only Australian player to get a Man of the Match at the previous Championships.

Boyd is a long term member of the Mt Lawley Inglewood Cricket Club.

The WACA has started a successful Integrated Cricket League for outdoor cricket this  summer, for people with disabilities.

WACA Integrated Cricket League is coming back in October this year.
If you or a person you know is interested in this League, details can be obtained from Brad Denham at the WACA

Well Done Boyd, Kira will be cheering you on all the way!
